Texas Rangers

Surprisingly, I am watching a great deal of early season baseball.  I refuse to knee jerk, as some do, this early in the season because i am used to yearly failure.  I will say that the Yanks and Sox are lucky they got us with Ian Kinsler on the DL and the closer up in the air.  The subs played well but Kinsler just brings something to the table.
The free running style Ron Washington uses seems to work and it really bothers opposing pitchers.  Vlad goes on unbelievable streaks of bashing.  CJ Wilson is proving to be an ace.  Josh Hamilton is starting to get there.  Elvis "is in the building" Andrus lets little get past him in the field and brings the kind of  lead off presence that Maury Wills, and Bump, used to.  I predict Neftali Feliz will be a top flight closer by years end.  I'm not gonna give up, yet.  This team seams as good as any we have had since Juan Gonzales left the team.
With Dale Jr. having another marginal year (thanks Rick Hendrick), the wait for training camp may not be so bad this year.
