With apologies to a friend I must say I am relieved that the USA is out of the World Cup. If they weren't going to win it lessens the heartbreak getting out early.
I still think the Rangers will be fine. They should be able to make a move for a pitcher, hopefully Roy Oswalt, and improve over Scott Feldman in the rotation. Don't sleep on Derek Holland, he looked great before going on the DL and should stabilize the rotation when he returns.
I can assure you that Cowboys training camp and preseason will be dull. Only bad teams make splashes during that time. If you want excitement, wait til the season starts. The defense will still be great and the offense will take alot of pressure off them. When you consider what they are already saying about Dez Bryant, you should expect a wide open offense that will still have the ability to pound the ball. When they go 3 wide, which i expect a great deal of, other teams will not be able to put 8 in the box. I expect Felix Jones to start and Marion Barber to go back to his closer role. I expect Roy Williams to become the position threat he should be. Teams will find out the Cowboys will be almost uncoverable. A safety can't cover Bryant or Williams when both are in the line up and a 3rd corner will open the door for Jones, Barber and Choice. Be sure to watch it should be fun!
